Automated Teller Machines

When you need immediate cash, day or night, use our convenient ATM Card and Visa Check Card to access any of our Arkansas Federal-owned automated teller machines, or almost any other ATM worldwide. The Arkansas Federal ATM Card and Visa Check Card allows you withdraw funds from your Share Savings or Checking Account anytime, anywhere. There are no fees when you use any Arkansas Federal-owned ATM. ATMs displaying the CU HERE, CO-OP or MoneyPassŪ network logos are absolutely free to members using their Arkansas Federal ATM Card and Visa Check Card. (Surcharges may be applied to each transaction made at non-Arkansas Federal-owned ATMs that do not display the CU HERE, CO-OP or MoneyPassŪ network logos. Carefully read signage at remote ATM sites for details.) Our worldwide ATM network ensures that flexible, on-the-run ATM access is never out of reach. Funds deposited into your Arkansas Federal account through any Arkansas Federal-owned ATM are credited to your account at the end of the next business day.

Worldwide ATM Access

Though vacation or business travel may take you away, you will never lose access to the benefits of ATM service. The back of your ATM Card and Visa Check Card shows logos for ATM networks-including CIRRUS, PLUS, PULSE, AFFN, Exchange, MPACT, DASH, CU24, CU HERE, CO-OP and MoneyPassŪ-that allow you to access funds in your Arkansas Federal accounts. If you are in need of cash and an Arkansas Federal ATM is out of reach, just look for these network logos on an ATM in your area. So go ahead - roam if you wish.

ATM Functions

Arkansas Federal's ATMs have the ability to conduct almost as many transaction types as our lobby tellers. Most of our ATMs will do the following:

  • Withdraw Cash - The primary purpose of our ATMs is to make funds available to members when and where it is most convenient.
  • Make Deposits - All Arkansas Federal ATMs accept deposits of checks or cash. Instead of waiting in line, use the ATM to deposit your funds.
  • Disability Accessible - All Arkansas Federal ATMs are accessible to all members with a disability. All ATMs have ramp access for wheelchairs, are equipped with Braille buttons, have large easy to read color monitors, and provide voice assistance to allow all members access to this easy and convenient method to transact their financial business.
  • Make Loan Payments - Members may make loan payments on any Arkansas Federal loan at any of our ATM locations.
  • Print a Mini-Statement - For a nominal charge, our ATM will print a mini-statement of your last 10 account transactions.

ATM Safety Features

Arkansas Federal has your safety in mind when you use one of our Automated Teller Machines. We have invested in ATMs with multiple safety features:

  • Account number masking - Only the first four and last four digits of your account number are printed on your ATM receipt. This prevents others from gaining access to your account number in the event you lose or misplace your ATM receipt.
  • 911 Safe Alert Button - All of our external ATMs have a large red button located on the control panel displaying "911". If an emergency arises a 911 operator can be reached immediately by pressing the 911 button.
  • Safety Signage - The literature surrounding all ATMs explains safety tips to inform you of proper ATM usage.
  • Open & Closed Signage - All Arkansas Federal ATMs have an open/closed sign that displays if the ATM is operational. The OPEN sign is green and the CLOSED sign is red to be more visible as you approach the ATM.
  • Voice Assistance - All Arkansas Federal ATMs are able to walk you thru any ATM transaction with voice assistance. If you have a disability or just want a little help, our talking ATMs will take you thru your transaction step-by-step.

Personal Safety at the ATM

When it comes to ensuring a safe experience at the ATM, caution wins the day. Always remember to:

  • Store your ATM Card in a safe place. Memorize your PIN, or store it separately from your card.
  • Prepare transaction materials in the security of your home, office, or car before approaching the ATM.
  • When entering your PIN at an ATM, shield the keypad with your body so others cannot see you entering your PIN.
  • If you feel uncomfortable at any time during your transaction, simply press the cancel button and go to another location.
  • Use your ATM in the daytime or have someone accompany you after dark.
  • Pocket your cash withdrawals immediately. Count funds later in your car or at home.
  • Save ATM receipts to protect vital account information and reduce the risk of account fraud.

If your ATM Card is lost or stolen, it can be replaced for a nominal fee by contacting a Member Service Representative at any Arkansas Federal branch location.
