Automated Telephone Services

Twenty-four hour access to your financial accounts is the cornerstone of technological service at Arkansas Federal Credit Union. With Automated Telephone Services from Arkansas Federal, checking your account balance, transferring funds, applying for a loan, or obtaining information about Arkansas Federal's products and services are available to you anytime, anywhere. At Arkansas Federal, members have more Options and More Choices to access their accounts.

By using telephone services such as Touch-Tone-Teller, Phone-A-Loan and AnswerLine, you will feel more informed and in better control of your finances. Fast, convenient and user-friendly, Automated Telephone Services provide unlimited access to Arkansas Federal via any touch-tone telephone. If you do not have touch-tone service, use the pulse/tone switch found on most push button telephones to first dial the number on pulse and then switch to tone when the call is answered.


Touch-Tone-Teller

The 24-Hour Touch-Tone-Teller allows you to access your accounts via a touch-tone phone 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. With our 24-Hour Touch-Tone-Teller service, you can perform any number of routine transactions: check your balance, request a withdrawal from your account, transfer funds, and even make loan payments. It's all at your fingertips, and each transaction is free. It's as easy as pressing the buttons on your touch-tone telephone. Simply call Touch-Tone-Teller at 501-982-AFCU (2328) or 800-982-AFCU (2328) and let the automated teller guide you step-by-step through your transaction. If you do not have touch-tone service, use the pulse/tone switch found on most push button telephones to first dial the number on pulse and then switch to tone when the call is answered.

Once you have accessed Touch-Tone-Teller, you will be guided step-by-step through your transaction. Remember to press the # sign after each entry.

Enter your Member Number
This is the 7-digit Member Number on the front of your Membership Identification Card. Then press # sign.

Enter your Access Code
This is the four-digit secret number that only you know. Then press the # sign.

Choose a Service Code
Service Codes are located on the back of your Membership Card. Enter the appropriate Service Code, and then press the # sign.

Enter your Account or Loan Number.
This is the one, two, or three-digit number on the back of your Membership Card. Then press the # sign.

When your transaction is complete, press Service Code 99 and the # sign to end your session. Never end your session by simply hanging up.

Tips for Using the 24-hour Touch Tone Teller

  • Press the # sign after every entry.
  • No decimal is necessary when entering dollar amounts.
    Example: Enter $25.00 as 2500#.
  • You may access a different Service Code at any time during the recorded message by pressing the new Service Code and the # sign.
  • If you request a check withdrawal from your account PRIOR to 3:00 p.m. central time on a business day, it will be mailed to you that day. If your request is made AFTER 3:00 p.m. central time, or on a non-business day, it will be mailed the next business day.
  • Be sure to record all checking transactions in your checkbook register.
  • Your transactions will appear as a Telephone Transaction on your monthly account statement.
  • Federal Regulations limit the number of transfers from each Savings account to no more than six (6) within a calendar month. However, there are no limitations on transfers from your Checking or Money Market Account.

Phone-A-Loan access is literally at your fingertips.  Just dial 501-982-1000 or 800-456-3000.  Listen to the instructions and when prompted press one to apply for a loan.  Nothing could be easier.

Rest assured, using Phone-A-Loan does not mean you will pay a premium for your loan.  You will receive the same low rate offered to members who apply in person at a branch office.  Best of all, there is absolutely no service charge for applying.
