When is the credit card update occurring?
The update is scheduled July 11 - July 16, 2018.

Will my credit card number change?
No, your 16-digit card number will not change.

Will I need to update my expiration date and CVV number with third-party vendors?
No, your card expiration date and CVV code are not changing.

Will I have the same Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
No, beginning July 16, 2018, you can call 800-456-3000, select option #4 and follow the prompts to establish your new PIN.

Do I have to update my automatic payment information for third-party payees and merchants?
No, since your card number, expiration date and CVV code are remaining the same, there is no new information to provide to third-party payees and merchants.

Will my credit card rate change?
No, your rate will not be affected.

Will my credit limit be changing?
No, your credit limit will not be affected.

Will my Cash Advance limit be changing?
Yes, effective July 16, 2018, members will have 85% of their credit line available for cash advances. Ex. Member has a credit line of $1,000, they will have $850 available to utilize for cash advances.

Are the payment options changing?
Yes, beginning July 17, 2018 we are adding an after-hours electronic payment option. If the need arises, call 800-456-3000 and follow the prompts for a telephone representative to assist you with processing an electronic payment from your Arkansas Federal account or from any other financial institution to your Arkansas Federal credit card.

What are the available payment options?
Beginning July 17 all of the following payment options will be available:

  • Online Banking – Payments can be made one-time or set-up to recur on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis from your Checking, Savings, Money Market or Member Freedom Money Fund to your Arkansas Federal credit card.

  • External Account Transfers – Add an external account from any other financial institution to make your Arkansas Federal credit card payment via Online Banking.

  • After Hours Electronic Payment – Call 800-456-3000 and follow the prompts for a telephone representative to assist you with processing an electronic payment from your Arkansas Federal account or from any other financial institution to your Arkansas Federal credit card.

  • Touch Tone Teller – Call our automated telephone system to transfer your payment from your Checking, Savings, Money Market or Member Freedom Money Fund to your Arkansas Federal credit card.

  • Branch Locations – Visit any Arkansas Federal branch location to make your payment.  Visit afcu.org/locationsatms for a listing of branch locations and hours.

  • By Mail – Mail your payment to P.O. Box 9, Jacksonville, AR 72078, which will post on the date that it is received.

Will I be able to utilize my credit card for purchases during the update?
Yes, your credit card will function, however your balance information may not be current.

Will I still have the option to have overdraft protection from my credit card?
No, beginning July 11, 2018, overdraft protection from any Arkansas Federal credit card to an Arkansas Federal checking account will cease. However, we are introducing a line of credit that can be utilized as your primary source for overdraft protection.

Will my Visa alerts transfer to the new program?
No, your previously established Visa alerts will not transfer. To re-establish Visa alerts, click on the Credit Alerts link below.

Will I be able to use the same ATMs?
Yes, you will be able to use the same ATMs.

Will I be able to utilize Arkansas Federal ATMs during the update?
Arkansas Federal ATMs will function during the update (July 13th thru July 16th), however the balance information may not be current.

Will the rewards website be changing?
Yes, with the updated program comes a new rewards website. You will access the new site beginning mid-September.

How do I access the new rewards website?
Login to Online Banking, select Services, then uChoose Rewards.

Will my login for the rewards site remain the same?
No, when the new rewards website launches, you will need to create a new username and password.

Will my CURewards points carry over to the new Rewards Program?
Yes, points accrued under the CURewards program will carry over to the new Rewards Program.

When is the last day to redeem points from the current CURewards website?
The last day to redeem points from the CURewards website will be 9:00 am EST on July 12, 2018. Any accrued points not redeemed will carry over to the new Rewards Program.

I am disputing a charge, how will this update affect this process?
The update will not affect the dispute process, Arkansas Federal will continue to investigate your dispute until it is resolved.

What can I do if I have suspected fraud on my credit card?
If you suspect fraud has occurred, call 800-456-3000 to block your credit card.

What is Visa Account Updater?
Visa Account Updater is a service that automatically sends updated card number and/or expiration date information to participating merchants. Any of your third-party merchants that participate, will automatically receive your updated Arkansas Federal credit card information. If you wish to opt-out of this service call 800-456-3000.

When is the credit card update occurring?

Why is my current credit card being replaced?
Your current card is being replaced because Arkansas Federal will no longer issue or support the Diamond Rewards Cashback credit card.

Will my credit be affected because I’m getting a new card?
No, Arkansas Federal is automatically transferring you into a new credit card with the same credit limit and without us doing a credit inquiry with the credit bureaus.

How will I know what my new terms and Annual Percentage Rate (APR) are?
You will be mailed new disclosures prior to receiving your new credit card(s).

What if I do not accept the new terms or APR?
You have the option to close your card or not activate the new card once it arrives.

Will my credit card number change?
Yes, your 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV code will change.

When should I expect to receive my new credit card?
Your new credit card(s) should arrive on or before August 1, 2018.

Do I need to activate my new credit card?
Yes, please follow the instructions on the card activation sticker affixed to your new credit card(s).

When will my current Diamond Rewards Cashback credit card stop working?
Your current Diamond Rewards Cashback credit card(s) will be deactivated on August 1, 2018. You will need to activate your new card(s) and destroy your existing Diamond Rewards Cashback card(s) before this date.

Do I have to update my automatic payment information for third-party payees and merchants?
Yes, you will need to provide all of your third-party payees and merchants with your updated card number, expiration date and CVV code information.

With Visa Purchase Alerts cardholders are notified in near real-time of transaction activity on their enrolled card(s). Visa Purchase Alerts messages can be sent via e-mail and / or mobile text messages.

Beginning in August your credit card statement will have a new streamlined look. If you are a member who typically receives an e-Statement, for the months of July & August, you will also receive a paper statement. Beginning September your statement will revert back to e-Statement only.
