Meet Sultan Ali, Our New Vice President of Retail Operations

Arkansas Federal Credit Union Hires Sultan Ali as Vice President of Retail Operations

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – April 20, 2023) — Arkansas Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that it recently hired Sultan Ali as a vice president of retail operations for the northwest Arkansas market. In his position, Ali is responsible for the overall administration and management of Arkansas Federal’s branch locations, in northwest Arkansas, including operations, lending, account acquisition, and credit union member service.

“Sultan’s experience, skills, and passion for making a difference in members’ lives and the communities we serve made him a great fit for our team,” said Jad Malek, senior vice president and chief retail officer. “We believe his passion and commitment to develop and foster the relationships in the communities we serve will be key in expanding our presence in this market.”

Before joining Arkansas Federal Credit Union, Ali served as regional vice president of Members 1^st Federal Credit Union. Ali has spent more than 18 years in various roles in the credit union industry. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan. Ali is passionate about community involvement and devotes much of his time outside of work to local non-profit organizations, having served as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Ali also spent considerable time supporting and working with Leg Up Farms in central Pennsylvania. Leg Up Farms provides therapeutic horse riding, life skills training, and integration therapy for children with disabilities.
