An update for our members: COVID-19

You are a valued member of Arkansas Federal Credit Union, and I want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19/coronavirus and are prepared to ensure the health and safety of our employees while also ensuring our members continue to have uninterrupted access to your accounts and services at Arkansas Federal.
1. Personal Safety
First, I want to assure you that your safety and the safety of all of our employees and members remain our top priority. And that means you can continue to visit our branch locations with confidence. Here are some of the measures we are taking:
- Our goal - in this time and always - is to ensure a clean and safe environment. In addition to the daily cleaning conducted at all of our facilities, we are increasing the frequency of our cleaning with additional cleaning of door knobs/handles, teller surfaces, desks, coffee stations and seating throughout the day.
- We're ensuring our employees are kept up to date on how to keep them - and their families - informed, aware and protected throughout this situation.
2. Your Financial Well-Being
In addition to monitoring for health and safety, we are also closely monitoring the financial markets. Arkansas Federal is well-prepared to be able to continue to provide excellent service throughout our 16-branch network, fully staffed call center, and of course, through our online and mobile channels. We are focused on maintaining our strong member value, including continuing to offer one of the highest interest rates on our checking accounts, as well as some of the country’s lowest rates on loans.
3. Fraudulent Activity Alert
Unfortunately, scammers and hackers use the uncertainty around pandemics such as this to defraud people. The scammers have developed very sophisticated methods that can often appear to be from legitimate companies. Please remember, Arkansas Federal will NEVER call or text you to ask for your account numbers, debit or credit card information, passwords or security codes.
4. Ease of Access
If you haven't tried using all of the secure and convenient online and mobile banking tools provided to you at no cost, now is a great time to get started. You have access to digital banking tools that allow you to manage your accounts, control your debit and credit card, apply for loans, pay bills and more, right from your home. After all, the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to viruses, and you have access to everything you need through your desktop computer or mobile phone.
