AFCU Named in Arkansas Business’ Best Places to Work
JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (September 11, 2015) — Arkansas Federal Credit Union (AFCU) was named one of Arkansas Business’ 2015 Best Places to Work. AFCU will be honored at an awards luncheon on Wednesday, September 16, hosted by DataPath Administrative Services at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Little Rock.
“One of our missions is to make a difference in the lives of our team by providing a challenging and rewarding work experience that serves a greater purpose,” AFCU President/CEO Rodney Showmar said. “That purpose is to be the difference in the world and we do that by focusing on taking care of our team so they in turn can take care of our members. Being named one of the best places to work recognizes and reinforces our commitment to fulfill that mission.”
AFCU will be one of 18 businesses recognized at the luncheon. At the luncheon, an overall winner and a Benchmark Award winner will be named. Tickets for the luncheon are available on the Arkansas Business website. AFCU is the largest financial cooperative and tenth largest financial institution in Arkansas with more than $1 billion in total assets, 92,000 plus members and more than 270 employees.
AFCU has 14 service centers throughout Arkansas and more than 5,000 service centers in all 50 states and eight foreign countries through a partnership with Credit Union Service Centers.
