Arkansas Federal’s Everyday Low-Rate Credit Card offers an everyday low rate that’s significantly lower than many national credit cards. If you don’t pay your full balance each month, the remaining amount will start to accumulate interest at a set rate, also known as the Annual Percentage Rate (APR). With a low-rate credit card, the interest you owe on your balance will grow at a slower pace than it would with a higher-rate card.
The low-rate credit card does not have an annual fee, but you may be charged a late fee if a payment is not made on time. A cash advance fee may also apply when using your credit card to withdraw cash.
Opening a new account can cause a small temporary dip in your credit score, but maintaining good credit behaviors should help bring it back up. Using your credit card responsibly by making on-time payments, keeping your balance low relative to your credit limit, and avoiding opening too many accounts at once can have a positive impact on your credit score.
A minimum credit score of 660 is recommended when applying for Arkansas Federal’s Everyday Low-Rate Credit Card, but credit score is not the only factor we look at. Your income, employment status, credit history, and other financial liabilities will also play a part in whether or not you are approved.
