When Kelly and Danny Bertrand opened Dynasty Sports in 2024, they weren’t just opening a gym. They were creating a place where local athletes, especially those passionate about baseball and softball, could train hard, chase their goals, and feel supported.
Located just south of Little Rock in Hensley, Arkansas, Dynasty Sports has quickly become a spot where young athletes come to level up. But getting the doors open took more than passion. It took a lot of planning, persistence, and the right people in their corner.
“We had the vision,” said co-owner Kelly Bertrand. “But we needed help getting everything off the ground.”
That help came from Randy Williamson at Arkansas Federal Credit Union.
“Randy was amazing,” Kelly said. “He really took the time to explain the loan process in a way that made sense. It wasn’t overwhelming. It actually felt doable.”
From the very beginning, Randy wasn’t there to just approve a loan. He was there to walk alongside them, answer questions, and cheer them on through the ups and downs of starting a business.

With over 25 years of coaching experience in youth baseball and softball, Dynasty Sports has grown into more than just a training facility; it’s a place where athletes build confidence, develop proper mechanics, and learn the discipline needed to chase big goals.
Their team of championship coaches focuses on fundamentals, teamwork, and helping players get ready to compete at higher levels—including getting noticed by colleges.
