Arkansas Federal Credit Union Announces 2026 Scholarship Recipient
6/23/2026
Arkansas Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Claire Milam, a graduating senior from Greenbrier High School, has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the Arkansas Federal Credit Union Scholarship.
Since 2003, Arkansas Federal has awarded an annual $5,000 scholarship to a member or a child of a member to support their pursuit of higher education. Milam will receive her $5,000 scholarship award in August; she plans to attend the University of Arkansas this fall, where she will pursue a degree in Business Marketing.
Scholarship recipients are required to use the funds at a two- or four-year accredited institution or trade school recognized by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education.
Milam distinguished herself through her academic achievements and her strong work ethic. While maintaining a high GPA, she balanced responsibilities that included working two jobs and dedicating her time to tutoring fellow students.
“Claire exemplifies the determination and commitment we look for in our scholarship recipients,” said Amber Reilly, Vice President of Collections at Arkansas Federal Credit Union and a member of the scholarship review committee. “Her ability to maintain academic excellence while working multiple jobs and giving back through tutoring truly speaks to her character. We are confident she will continue to excel in her future endeavors.”
Arkansas Federal Credit Union is honored to support students like Claire Milam who demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and a dedication to both their education and their communities.
Congratulations to Claire Milam on this outstanding achievement. Applications for the 2027 Arkansas Federal Credit Union Scholarship will be announced in the January 2027 issue of the Banner Newsletter.
