Arkansas Federal Named 2020 'Best Places to Work'

Arkansas Federal Credit Union has been named one of the best places to work in Arkansas for 2020 by Arkansas Business, the statewide business journal that annually recognizes the state’s top employers.

The award recognizes Arkansas businesses through their employees’ anonymous feedback and ratings for the outstanding performance in establishing workplaces where employees can thrive, enjoy their work and help their company succeed.

“Our employees are at the heart of everything we do—from serving members to supporting communities—and our ability to achieve our objectives starts with creating a welcoming, rewarding, and engaging workplace,” said Heather Savage, senior vice president of human resources at Arkansas Federal. “Being a part of this list validates that we’re doing just that, even with the challenges that have emerged this year.”

Companies across the state completed a two-part survey process to determine the “Best Places to Work.” Worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation, Arkansas Business first evaluated each company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. Second, and worth 75% of the total evaluation, employees submitted confidential surveys to measure their overall experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and final rankings.

The winning companies will be recognized at a special event on November 12, 2020 and featured in a special supplement of Arkansas Business on November 16, 2020.
