Arkansas Federal Credit Union Introduces Small Business Administration Lending & Randy Williamson as Senior SBA Lender

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – January 24, 2022) — Arkansas Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that it recently received the designation by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a non-delegated SBA lender. To speardhead this new lending initiative, Arkansas Federal has hired Randy Williamson as the senior SBA lender.

In his position, Williamson is responsible for the overall implementation, direction, and evolution of the credit union’s SBA lending.

“We view Williamson’s appointment as a sign of our continued commitment to foster and develop the small business communities in which we serve” said Alan Harrison, senior vice president of business services. “We were fortunate to find someone of Williamson’s caliber, who is experienced in underwriting, originating, and servicing SBA loans.”

Prior to joining Arkansas Federal, Williamson worked for the SBA as a loan specialist, where he developed a stronger passion for the small business community. During the pandemic, Randy saw firsthand the value in helping small businesses and believes them to be the “backbone” of America. Williamson has spent more than 25 years in various roles in the lending and commercial real estate industry.

As an SBA lender Arkansas Federal will be able to deepen its commitment to invest in the communities in which it serves, while also broadening the availability of treasury management and business services.
