Arkansas Federal Credit Union Names Valerie Erkman Vice President of Marketing

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (May 18, 2015) — Arkansas Federal Credit Union has acquired the talents of Valerie Erkman for the role of vice president of marketing. Erkman will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing across all channels and communication platforms for AFCU.
“After an eight-month national search, we are thrilled to welcome Valerie to our team,” AFCU Chief Executive Officer Rodney Showmar said. “She brings a stellar track record of developing, implementing and executing growth strategies in organizations that she has managed.”
Erkman, who received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has nearly 15 years of experience in the marketing industry. She most recently served as vice president of marketing for Arkansas Capital Corporation, and was previously employed at Windstream and Alltel. She is also the co-owner of Segway of Arkansas.
