Important Reminder

The migration of United Arkansas Federal Credit Union (UAFCU) member account data to Arkansas Federal Credit Union will begin February 27, 2026 @ 5 pm, and conclude on March 2, 2026 @ 8 am.

UAFCU digital banking access will end on February 27. Please verify that we have your correct phone number, email, and address, to help with a seamless transition by February 27. This will help us verify your identity upon initial login to Arkansas Federal’s digital banking, prompt receipt of a new Arkansas Federal debit or credit card, and account cross-reference information after the migration.

You will be able to enroll in and access Arkansas Federal digital banking beginning on March 2 once migration is complete. From February 27 to March 2, access to certain services, including card usage, will be temporarily unavailable.

About the Merger

UAFCU is now part of Arkansas Federal Credit Union. Once the migration is complete it will give UAFCU members access to the full range of Arkansas Federal products and services, including high-yield checking and savings options, competitive rates on loans and credit cards, personalized investment services, insurance, and more.

Arkansas Federal is committed to making this transition as easy as possible for you. In the coming weeks, we will migrate all your account data into our account information system. To ensure you can enjoy all the new conveniences of membership with Arkansas Federal, please make sure your contact information is updated with United Arkansas FCU.

Until we migrate your United Arkansas FCU information into our systems beginning on February 27, 2026, you can continue to use your United Arkansas FCU accounts as you normally would. Your checks, debit and credit card transactions, loan payments, and direct deposits will be processed as usual.

We also recommend that you continue to use United Arkansas FCU’s online banking and ATM/ITM.

What to Expect

Debit Cards

  • Your existing UAFCU debit cards will be deactivated on March 1, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
  • Your new Arkansas Federal debit card should arrive by March 2, 2026
  • Activate your new card on or after March 2 using the instructions included with your card
  • Select your PIN by following the phone prompts

Debit Cards (Savings-Only Account Holders) 

  • A new debit card will not be automatically issued
  • To access your savings after migration, please contact us, and our team will walk you through your options 

Credit Cards

  • Your existing UAFCU credit card will be deactivated on February 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. and your new Arkansas Federal credit card (Platinum Classic Mastercard®) should arrive by March 15, 2026
  • Activate your new credit card once it arrives using the instructions included
  • You may not have access to your credit card between February 27 and March 15, so please plan to use an alternate form of payment during that time

What You May Need to Re-Establish After Migration

If your checking account is being migrated, the following items will not carry over and will need to be re-established after March 2: 

  • Direct deposits and payroll allocations 
  • Recurring debits from your checking account by third-party vendors 
  • Recurring payments tied to your debit card or credit card on file with third-party vendors 
  • Automatic transfers or loan payments set up through UAFCU 

What to Do Next

Beginning March 2, please plan to: 

  • Enroll in Arkansas Federal Digital Banking to manage your accounts and make loan payments 
  • Update companies that automatically deposit or debit your checking account with your new Arkansas Federal account and loan numbers and routing number 282075028 by March 31
  • Update third-party vendors where your debit card or credit card is on file with your new card number, expiration date, and CVV 
  • Enroll in My Cards to help protect and manage your cards in real time 
  • Re-establish any automatic transfers or loan payments 
  • Order new checks if needed 
  • Opt in to Privilege Pay (UAFCU Courtesy Pay will not transfer)

Is my money safe?

Yes. Arkansas Federal Credit Union shares are backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). NCUA insures member savings up to at least $250,000.

How will my accounts transition to Arkansas Federal Credit Union?

Arkansas Federal is committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Member account information will be migrated into Arkansas Federal’s systems during the scheduled migration period. We’ll continue to share clear updates, so you know what to expect and when. To help ensure a smooth transition, please make sure your contact information is up to date.

How do I continue to manage my accounts during the transition?

Until migration begins, you can continue using your UAFCU accounts as you normally would. Checks, debit and credit card transactions, loan payments, and direct deposits will continue to process as usual until services are temporarily paused during the migration window outlined on this page.

Will I still be able to visit the United Arkansas FCU location?

Yes. The former UAFCU location will remain open and continue serving members. This location is now Arkansas Federal’s Southwest Little Rock branch.

How do I make my loan payments?

You can continue making loan payments the same way you do today until migration begins, February 27, 2026. After migration, March 2, 2026, loan payments can be made through Arkansas Federal Digital Banking or at any Arkansas Federal branch. Specific payment deadlines and options are outlined in the Key Dates section above.

Will my direct deposit transfer automatically?

No. Direct deposits and payroll allocations will need to be re-established after migration using your new Arkansas Federal account information. Please complete updates by March 31 to avoid any delays.

Do I need to update my automatic payments or subscriptions?

Yes. Any recurring payments tied to your UAFCU checking account, debit card, or credit card will need to be updated with your new Arkansas Federal account or card information after migration.

Will my share dividend rate stay the same?

No, once your United Arkansas FCU share savings is migrated to Arkansas Federal, your share savings account will earn the corresponding dividend rate that all Arkansas Federal members earn.
