JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (September 2, 2015) — Arkansas Federal Credit Union (AFCU) rededicated the Cabot Service Center with a reception on Friday, August 28, 2015.
The service center, located at 100 South Rockwood Street in Cabot, has recently undergone a complete renovation, allowing for more face-to-face consultation with team members. Offices have also been added to assist visitors with loans and accounts.
Renovations for the service center began January 6, 2015 and lasted approximately seven months. The location originally opened in 2005.
“We feel it’s very important to provide all the tools necessary to our team so they can provide the best service to our members,” AFCU President/CEO Rodney Showmar said at Friday’s reception. “By providing this open concept we can have conversations with our members where we’re not locked behind a teller line. It’s the best thing we can do to have our team members interact with our members.”
AFCU is the largest financial cooperative and tenth largest financial institution in Arkansas with more than $1 billion in total assets, 92,000 plus members and more than 270 employees.
AFCU has 14 service centers throughout Arkansas and more than 5,000 service centers in all 50 states and eight foreign countries through a partnership with Credit Union Service Centers.
